PROFILE

Carme Ruscalleda is a world-renowned female chef, born and grew up in Catalonia, Spain. In 1988, she opened "Restaurant Sant Pau" in her hometown overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. In 2006, Restaurant Sant Pau received 3 Michelin stars. Based on the traditions of her home Catalonia, her dishes are full of respect and love to seasonal ingredients and nature itself.
Chef Carme is one of the few female chefs who won Michelin 3-stars, and even more surprisingly she was a housewife before becoming a chef without any training/ working experience in other restaurants. Her unlimited creativity and artistic sense reflected in her cuisine fascinated many gourmands around the world.
